SNICKER CAKE 
1 German chocolate cake mix
12 oz. pkg. caramels
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts
1/3 c. milk
1/2 stick butter

Prepare cake mix as directed. In a 13 x 9 x 2 inch oblong pan (well greased), pour 3/4 of the batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Melt caramels and butter and combine with milk. Pour caramel mixture over partially baked cake and sprinkle with chips and nuts. Spoon remaining batter over the mixture. (Do not spread.) Bake at 250 degrees for 15-20 minutes, then at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Or Swiss chocolate.

Or peanut butter or both.
