1 box light brown sugar
1 sm. can Carnation milk
1/2 to 1 c. nuts, optional
1/4 lb. butter
Vanilla flavoring

Cook brown sugar and milk about 8 minutes. Add butter and beat until creamy. Add nut meats and flavoring. It is then ready for your cake. Don't let it get too firm before spreading on your cake.
