CARAMEL TART FILLING | |
2 c. light brown sugar 2 tbsp. flour 1 sm. can Pet milk 1 whole egg 1 stick melted butter 1 tbsp. vanilla Mix flour and sugar together. Beat egg in milk. Mix in sugar mixture. Add melted butter. Cook to custard stage about 5 minutes (10 minutes for double recipe) on medium low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Beat, cool and refrigerate. Pour into baked tart shells as needed. |
