CARAMEL FILLED CHOCOLATE COOKIES 
2 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. chopped pecans
48 Rolo candy pieces
1 tbsp. sugar

Combine dry ingredients. Set aside. Beat sugars, butter, vanilla and eggs until creamy. Add dry ingredients. Stir in 1/2 cup pecans. Shape 1 tablespoon dough around a Rolo. Roll in remaining chopped pecans and 1 tablespoon sugar which have been blended together. Put on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
