JIM ED BROWNS WILD RICE
CASSEROLE
 
2 or 3 c. chicken, turkey or duck
1 lg. can mushrooms (don't drain)
2 tbsp. butter
1 onion
1 tsp. parsley
1 tsp. pepper
Slivered almonds
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
6 oz. box wild rice (UNCLE BEN'S®)

Cook meat and take off bones. Saute butter, onion and 1 tablespoon flour. Add mushrooms and juice, parsley, salt, pepper and milk. Cook rice and add to ingredients. Put in greased casserole. Cover with almonds. Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour.
