ALMOND AND PINE NUT BARS 
1/2 lb. almond paste
1 1/8 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour

Mix almond paste and sugar until smooth. Add butter, mix well. Add beaten eggs, then flour. Beat well. Pour into 13 x 9 x 2 inch greased and floured pan. Sprinkle with pine nuts (you may add green food coloring to batter if made for Christmas). Bake 20 minutes in 350 degree oven or until toothpick comes out clean. Cut into diagonal pieces.
