PINE NUT MACAROONS 
1 lb. almond paste (1 3/4 c.)
2 1/2 c. (13 oz.) confectionery sugar
1/3 c. egg whites
1 tsp. almond flavor
2 oz. pine nuts

Mix paste and egg whites and blend well by hand or machine. Add confectionery and mix well. Measure out a teaspoon of dough and roll into a ball. Dip and flatten slightly onto nuts and place on greased foiled pan and bake at 300 degrees until lightly browned, about 20 minutes. Leave a little room for spreading on pan when baking.

Note: If a little too sticky to roll, place very little flour in palm of hand.
