LAYERED LETTUCE SALAD 
1/2 head of lettuce torn in small pieces
3 ribs diced celery
1/2 small sweet onion diced
2 c. cooked frozen peas (drain well)

Layer ingredients in bowl.

Cover with:

3/4 c. mayonnaise
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. grated cheese (Swiss, cheddar or parmesan)

Seal bowl with plastic wrap, (air tight) Refrigerate overnight. Toss 1/2 c. croutons with some bacon bits. Sprinkle over top and serve.
