SPICY COUNTRY FRIED CHICKEN 
1 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. garlic salt
2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) broiler-fryer, cut up & skinned
Vegetable oil

Combine first 5 ingredients in a plastic or paper bag; shake to mix and set aside. Combine milk and egg; mix well.

Place 2 or 3 pieces of chicken in the bag; shake well. Dip chicken in egg mixture; return to bag and shake again. Repeat procedure with remaining chicken.

Heat 1 inch of oil in a large skillet to 325 degrees; add chicken and fry 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown, turning once. Drain chicken on paper towels.
