FRESH EXPRESS STANDOUT SALAD
1 pkg. Fresh Express Sweet & Crunch Salad mix
about 6 oz. smoked Gouda cheese
1/2 cup Craisins (dehydrated cranberries)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
your favorite raspberry vinaigrette, to taste
1/2 loaf sweet French bread (I prefer day old bread)
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
freshly ground pepper, to taste

Cut French bread into bite sized squares. Place the squares in a bowl.

Mix olive oil, butter, basil, garlic powder, onion powder and pepper into a cup then mix with a fork. Drizzle over the bread squares while mixing them with your other hand.

Heat up a non-stick pan (I use a 12-inch Paula Deen skillet) to medium high. Put seasoned bread into the heated pan. Crisp up the bread.

Once the bread is lightly browned on all sides place on a cookie sheet to cool.

In a decorative serving bowl place Fresh Express Sweet & Crunchy salad mix. Cut the rind off the smoked Gouda then cut into 1/2-inch squares. Sprinkle them over the salad mix. Sprinkle Craisins over salad and then walnuts. Drizzle salad with raspberry vinaigrette - do not drown your salad. Place croutons on top of the salad.

Serve and enjoy!
