SOUTHWESTERN GREEN CHILE CORN
BREAD
 
1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/2 c. green chilies, diced
1 1/2 c. cream style corn
1/2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 c. jack cheese, shredded
1 c. flour
1 c. yellow corn meal
2 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs slowly, one at a time. Add remainder of ingredients and mix well. Pour mixture into a well buttered 9 inch square pan. Bake at 325 degrees for approximately one hour.

Good recipe, but the pan size is too small. 9 x 13 would be the correct size, as it is in another version of this recipe on this website. Reducing the temperature, as in that version, would probably be an improvement. I'll try the other one next time.
