PISTACHIO BROWNIES 
1/3 c. unsalted butter
2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped, shelled pistachios

In top of double boiler over hot water, melt butter and chocolate. Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla, flour and salt. Mix. Spread batter in greased 8 inch square baking pan. Sprinkle pistachios over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool. Makes 16 squares.
