TIN CAN ICE CREAM 
1 pt. Half and Half
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 lb. coffee can and lid
3 lbs. coffee can and lid
Ice
Salt
Tape

Beat egg in 1 pound coffee can. Add Half and Half, sugar and vanilla; mix well. Put lid on can and tape securely so lid won't come off. Place 1 pound can inside 3 pound coffee can. Pour ice and salt around 1 pound can until 3 pound can is full. Place lid on 3 pound can and tape securely. Roll can back and forth on a porch, patio or driveway for approximately 30-40 minutes. Ice cream will be soft and creamy. Great for kids to do. Note: Masking tape or duct tape works well.
