2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
3 egg yolks, beaten
2/3 c. corn meal
5 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. vanilla

Combine and mix well. Cook until thick. Pour into baked pie shell. Beat meringue and add to top of pie. Brown in oven.
