ROAST CHICKEN - CANTONESE STYLE | |
1 lg. chicken 1 c. sugar 5 oz. soy sauce 1/2 c. orange juice 1/2 c. red wine (opt.) 1 clove garlic, crushed (opt.) 1/8 tsp. ginger Combine all ingredients and pour into the cavity of the chicken. Marinate 1 1/2 hours. Roast in covered roaster for 2 1/2 to 3 hours at 325 degrees. Baste occasionally. |
