BASIL FETTUCINI 
1 lb. fettucini
2 tbsp. butter
2 cloves garlic
1/2 c. olive oil
3 tbsp. basil leaves
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Boil fettucini in salted water. Drain. Sprinkle butter over noodles. Prepare a paste of garlic, olive oil, basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese. Pour over fettucini and serve immediately. Serves 4.

An especially good complement to fish.
