CHEWY CHIP COOKIE 
Serve these with a cold glass of milk and watch them disappear! The addition of the pudding makes a big difference.

1 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 (3.4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. finely chopped nuts

In a large bowl, cream butter, sugars and pudding mix. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well after each addition. Beat in the vanilla. Gradually add flour and baking soda to the creamed mixture. Stir in the chips and nuts (the dough will be stiff). Drop by teaspoonfuls about 2-inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown. Remove to wire racks to cool.
