TOMATO PRESERVES 
12 c. tomatoes
1 lemon, cut fine
10 c. sugar
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. lemon juice
2 tbsp. whole cloves
6 sticks cinnamon, broken
1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring
1/2 tsp. orange flavoring

Peel whole ripe tomatoes, dice and drain off tomato juice. Add sugar and fruit juices and spices tied in a bag. Cook 50 minutes or until mixture thickens. Stir frequently to keep from sticking. Remove from heat and add flavorings. Seal in jelly jars while hot.
