SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS 
2 tbsp. vegetable shortening
1 lb. ground meat
1 tsp. salt
1 chopped onion
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. chili powder
1 1/2 c. tomato sauce
1 pkg. spaghetti
1/4 c. grated cheese (Cheddar or Velveeta)

Combine meat, egg, onion and salt; form into balls. Brown in hot shortening and remove from pan. Stir in flour and chili powder. Add tomato sauce and cheese; cook until thick. Return meatballs and simmer to heat through.

Cook spaghetti in salted, boiling water; arrange on platter. Place meatballs on top; cover with sauce. Serves 4-6.
