SAUCY TOMATO-BEAN CASSEROLE 
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 c. green pepper

Saute in large skillet until tender.

Add the following:

2 cans or 1 lg. can tomato sauce with tomato bits
1 pkg. either chili dog mix or sloppy joe seasoning
1 c. green beans
1 c. kidney beans
1 c. lima beans
1 c. wax beans
1 brick Cheddar cheese, shredded

Save half cup of cheese for top of casserole.

Mix all ingredients as given in order. Put into a large casserole and sprinkle the 1/2 cup of cheese on top. Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 minutes.

Note: This recipe was given to me by my grandmother Aili Sironen. My own adaptation is to use the entire can of each of the beans and taco seasoning.
