REFRIGERATOR PICKLES 
4 c. sugar
4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. turmeric
3 onions
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. celery seed
1/2 c. pickling salt (scant)
Cucumbers

In a glass gallon jar mix together the dry ingredients. Stir until dissolved. Do not heat. Thinly slice the onions and cucumbers to fill the jar. More or less onions may be used. Refrigerate. These may be kept in the refrigerator all winter.
