SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 1/2 c. milk
1 egg
3 tbsp. chopped onion
1 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1 tsp. allspice

To fry use 2-3 tablespoons butter.

GRAVY:

Pan juice
1 tbsp. flour
3/4-1 c. cream (or milk)
Salt & pepper

Melt butter in skillet and saute onions until golden brown. Soak bread crumbs in milk. Add meat, egg, onion, salt, pepper and allspice. Mix with hands until smooth. Shape into balls using tablespoon dipped in cold water.

Fry in butter until evenly brown, shaking pan continuously to make balls round. Remove meatballs from pan. Mix flour and cream, add to pan juice, stirring constantly and simmer 10 minutes. Place meatballs in hot deep dish and pour gravy over.
