MOMBO BARBECUE SAUCE 
32 oz. tomato ketchup
3/4 c. water
1/4 c. vinegar
1 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 c. Tabasco sauce
1/4 tsp. minced garlic

The firehouse Cook rarely goes by a recipe. He usually just starts pulling spices and ingredients out of the cabinet and mixes them to taste. Consequently, this barbecue sauce can be fine tuned to your particular taste.

This sauce is fine on chicken, pork chops, spareribs, or most any meats. To adjust taste, add sugar for a sweeter taste or Tabasco sauce and black pepper for a hotter taste. Serves 10.
