COCKTAIL MEATBALLS IN BARBECUE
SAUCE

1 lb. ground lean beef
2 tbsp. catsup
1 slice day old bread, torn into sm. pieces
2/3 c. instant dry milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 egg
1/4 c. finely cut onion

Mix ingredients well. With wet hands, shape meat mixture into 40 or 50 small meatballs using a teaspoon for each. Place on a cookie sheet and brown in a 400 degree oven, about 12 to 15 minutes. Meatballs can be prepared ahead of time and stored until you are ready to bake them.

SAUCE:

1/2 c. catsup
8 oz. can tomato sauce
2 tbsp. finely cut onion
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. pickle relish

Mix ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan and heat until steaming. Place meatballs into the sauce. Flavor is best if the meatballs are in the sauce for at least an hour.
