MARINATED PORK ROAST 
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. dry sherry
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. thyme
1 (4-5 lb.) rolled pork roast or 1/4-1/2 of a pork loin roast

Make a marinade of the first 6 ingredients. Put the roast in a plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Close the bag and refrigerate overnight.

Remove the meat from the marinade. Roast uncovered at 325 degrees for 2 1/2-3 hours. Baste occasionally during the last hour of cooking with the reserved marinade. This tastes entirely different from the usual pork roast. Approximately 10 servings.
