GRANDMA'S RICE PUDDING 
1/2 c. uncooked regular rice
1/2 c. sugar
5 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
Cinnamon (nutmeg or raisins) if desired

Heat oven to 300 degrees. Grease 2 quart casserole. In casserole, combine rice, sugar and milk; dot with butter. Bake at 300 degrees for 2 to 2 1/2 hours until rice is tendered and pudding is creamy, stirring. Cool, sprinkle each serving with cinnamon. Store in refrigerator. Makes 9 (1/2 cup) servings.
