PECAN TASSIES (MINI PECAN PIES) 
PASTRY:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 cup all-purpose flour

Soften cream cheese and butter to room temperature. Mix all ingredients to a creamy texture and chill for 1 hour. Then separate dough into balls (approximately 24) and press into greased muffin tins.

FILLING:

1 egg
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 cup pecans
dash of salt

Mix all ingredients. Pour into dough filled muffin tins.

Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
