LOWFAT BANANA BREAD 
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
1 c. sugar
3 egg whites
3 ripe bananas, peeled and mashed (approximately 2 c.)
1 tsp. vanilla

Thoroughly combine flour, baking powder, soda, and cinnamon. Set aside.

In large bowl, whisk together applesauce, sugar, egg whites, bananas, and vanilla. Add flour mixture and stir gently to blend.

Pour batter into 9 x 5 x 4 inch pan sprayed with non-stick spray.

Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 50-60 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool slightly on rack before removing from pan. Cool completely on rack before slicing.
