1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. peanut butter
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugars and shortening. Add eggs and beat until fluffy. Beat in peanut butter and vanilla. Add flour and soda mixed together. Drop on cookie sheet by teaspoon and mash lightly with fork. Bake at 350 degrees.
