FU MANCHU CASSEROLE 
Saute for five minutes in small amount of butter or oil:

1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery

Add:

2 lbs. lean ground beef

When brown add:

2 c. undiluted cream of mushroom soup
1 can bean sprouts with liquid
1 flat can water chestnuts, sliced
4 tbsp. soy sauce and salt and pepper

Bake in large casserole, covered 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Add:

1 pkg. frozen pea pods (thaw enough to separate)

Stir in pea pods. Top with:

1 can chow mein noodles

Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes. Serve with rice. Salad suggestion: Salad greens, mandarin oranges, chopped cashews and French dressing.
