MICROWAVE PECAN BRITTLE 
2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. light Karo syrup
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. pecans
1 tsp. baking soda

Chop pecans into medium pieces. Boil sugar and syrup 4 minutes on full power. Add butter and vanilla. Add pecans and cook 4 minutes at full power; add soda and beat. Pour into buttered cookie sheet; spread thin. Let set, break and store in covered container.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
