SESAME CRAB ROLLS | |
1/2 lb. processed American cheese, cubed 1/2 c. butter 2 (6 oz.) cans crabmeat, drained 20 slices white bread 1 c. butter 1 1/2 - 1 7/8 oz. can sesame seeds Melt cheese and 1/2 cup butter in a double boiler. Cool slightly and add crabmeat. Stir until cool. (The mixture will blend as it cools.) Cut crusts from bread and flatten slices with a rolling pin. Spread crab mixture on one side of bread and roll up in a jelly roll fashion. Melt remaining cup of butter. Dip each roll in melted butter and then roll in sesame seeds. Place on cookie sheet and freeze. Thaw about 15 minutes before ready to use. Cut rolls in thirds and broil, turning once. Makes 60 individual rolls. |
