SCOTTISH SHORTBREAD 
3 c. flour
3 sticks butter, softened
1/2 - 3/4 c. sugar

Mix ingredients together. Pat into jelly roll pan. Roll over top with rolling pin. Bake 300 to 325 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Cut immediately. Sprinkle top with sugar. Cool on rack. When cool, store in air tight container.
