BEETS AND PINEAPPLE 
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 (8 3/4 oz.) can pineapple, crushed or tidbits
1 tbsp. butter
1 (1 lb.) can sliced beets, drained

Cook and stir the first 3 ingredients in pan with pineapple and its syrup or juice until it bubbles. Add butter, lemon juice and beets. Cook about 5 minutes.
