CHOCOLATE MERINGUE COOKIES 
3 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. finely chopped pecans

Whip egg whites; add cream of tartar, 1/4 cup sugar (1 tablespoon at a time). Mix cocoa, cornstarch and remaining 1/4 cup sugar. Fold this into egg whites. Add pecans. Bake on oiled baking sheets or use non-stick pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes using upper 1/3 of oven.
