MERINGUE CHOCOLATE CHIP DROP
COOKIES
 
2 egg whites
Pinch of salt
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. chocolate chips
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat egg whites until foamy, add salt and cream of tartar. Beat until mixture WON'T slide off spoon. Gradually add sugar and flavoring and beat until stiff. Fold in chips and nuts. Drop on Pam sprayed cookie sheets by rounded teaspoonsful. Put in oven, turn off heat and leave overnight or a minimum of 5 hours. Don't open oven door to peek! Makes 40 cookies.
