CHOCOLATE CHIP MERINGUE DROPS 
2 lg. egg whites
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 tbsp. cocoa powder (not mix)
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Line two baking sheets with aluminum foil; set aside. In large bowl with electric mixer beat egg whites at high speed until they hold stiff peaks. Beat in sugar (1 tablespoon at a time), then add vanilla extract. Reduce speed to low and beat in cocoa powder.

Fold in chocolate chips. Drop mixture by rounded teaspoons onto baking sheets 1 inch apart. Bake 1 hour. Turn oven off and let cookies dry (in oven) for 2 hours. Makes about 40 cookies.
