1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. quick oats
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. each soda, cinnamon & nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt

Let oats sit in hot water while you mix the rest of the ingredients. Add oats mixture last. Bake in a 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:

1 box 10XX sugar
1/4 stick of butter
1 (6 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all together and add enough milk to get right texture.
