1 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. corn oil
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix dry ingredients with a fork in the pan (8 or 9 inch) you expect to bake in. Make 3 holes in the mixture; put vanilla in one, vinegar in next, and oil in 3rd hole. Pour 1 cup cold water over all and mix with a fork. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
