SOUTH AMERICAN NOODLES 
6 oz. noodles
1 lb. ground meat
3 tbsp. Crisco
4 tbsp. flour
2 c. grated carrots
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
30 oz. tomato juice
Grated Cheddar cheese

Brown meat in Crisco with onion, salt and pepper. Drain fat. Add flour, tomato juice and carrots. Simmer covered for 20 minutes adding tomato juice if needed. Pour over cooked noodles, topped with cheese.

Serves 6.
