EGGLESS SPICE CAKE 
1/2 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 c. seedless raisins
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Boil together for 5 minutes: Oil, sugar, water, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Let cool completely. Sift together and add to cooled liquid flour, soda, powder and salt. Mix. Bake in greased and dusted 8 inch pan at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Cool. Frost if desired. Makes one 8 inch layer.
