2/3 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
4 tbsp. milk
2 c. self-rising flour

Cut ingredients together. Roll pastry to approximately 1/4 inch thick. Cut with cookie cutter, bake on cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 5 to 8 minutes.
