BATTER FOR CORN DOGS

1 c. pancake mix
1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. milk

Stir together. Dip franks into batter. Fry in deep hot fat. Brown on all sides.

DIP:

3/4 c. catsup
2 tbsp. mustard
1/2 tsp. garlic salt

Loved it and so did my two teen age boys. My first test was a little dry so I added a 1/8 cup of olive oil. Also added a tbsp of Cumin and 1 tbsp of smoked paprika for a little kick.
I liked not having to make everything from scratch. I used Krusteax pancake mix. Very light. I will make this again!
