1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg

Cream the shortening and sugar together and then add eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Sift together the flour, soda, baking powder, salt and nutmeg and add the sifted ingredients to shortening and sugar mixture. Roll out the dough and cut.

Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. P.S. make sure area that dough is rolled out on is sprinkled with flour first.
