SWEET ROLLS AND COFFEE CAKES 
2 pkgs. yeast dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
1 c. scalded milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
5 c. all purpose flour

1. Add butter and salt to milk and bring to a boil, add sugar and let cool.

2. Add 2 well beaten eggs.

3. Beat in enough flour to cool the mixture a little before adding yeast. NOTE: Temperature is the important thing with yeast.

4. Beat in enough more flour to handle to knead; place in greased bowl; cover.

5. Let raise until double and work down.

6. Make into dinner rolls, greased pan and butter well. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Use this for sticky pecan rolls and Swedish tea ring.
