GREEK BURGERS | |
1 lb. ground beef 2 tbsp. olive oil 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1 c. thinly sliced cucumber 1/2 c. plain yogurt 2 tbsp. olive soup mix 1/2 tsp. dried mint 1 chopped tomato 1 sm. can sliced black olives 1 sliced scallion Crumbled feta cheese Pita bread 1. Combine olive oil, lemon juice, cucumber and scallion. Refrigerate. 2. Combine ground beef, yogurt, soup mix and mint. Shape into patties. Pan fry or broil. They may fall apart, beware grilling. 3. Serve with or in pita bread. Good with the tomatoes, feta, olives and cucumber mixture and patties in halved pita pockets. Serves 4. |
