ELEPHANT STEW | |
1 elephant (medium) Salt and pepper Brown gravy 2 rabbits (optional) Cut the elephant into small bite size pieces. This should take about 2 months. (A good time to start would be in January when there is not much pickin' going on and then the stew would be ready for the first festival of the season.) Add enough brown gravy to cover. Cook over kerosene fire for about 4 weeks, or until meat is tender. Makes 3, 800 servings. (To extend recipe, add the rabbits, but do this only if necessary, as most persons do not like to find hare in their stew). |
