SOUR CREAM GREEN BEANS 
1 can French cut green beans
3 sliced bacon
1/2 c. onion, minced
3 tbsp. butter
1 c. sour cream
3/4 c. mild Cheddar cheese, grated

Cook beans with bacon over low heat for 1/2 hour. Simmer minced onion in melted butter until tender. Add sour cream to cooked onion and heat well. Pour green beans into casserole. Then pour sour cream onion mixture over them. Top casserole with grated cheese. Bake in slow oven (325 degrees) for 30 minutes.
