MAKE AHEAD MASHED POTATOES | |
10 med.-lg. potatoes 2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese 1 c. sour cream 3 tbsp. butter Paprika 3/4 c. grated cheddar cheese 2 tsp. onion or garlic salt 1/4 tsp. pepper Peel and cook potatoes until tender. Drain and mash until smooth. Add a little milk if necessary. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, garlic salt and pepper together. Beat into potatoes until fluffy. Place in buttered 13 x 9 inch glass dish. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and paprika. Dot with butter. Cover and refrigerate. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes, uncovered until heated through. Better if refrigerated for a day or 2. |
