1 egg
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
1 can cherry pie filling
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Beat egg, sugar, butter, salt and baking powder together. Stir well. Add flavoring, fold in pie filling and nuts. Pour in greased and floured cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Frost with white frosting.
